Use components to build interfaces. Search the component's name in the Component panel (Shift + A) or use quick search (Ctrl + E). Once you added a Component to your page unlink it to make changes. Right-click on the symbol’s label and choose unlink from symbol. This is the rule. We use overrides only as an exception for simple components that you'd rather want to re-style on the specific page within Style Guide (buttons, toggles etc. - mostly atoms).
Breadcrumbs assist users by helping them understand their current location in relation the rest of the application. Breadcrumbs use page hierarchy to facilitate discovery without taking up too much space.

Dropdowns are small overlays that open on demand. They let users access additional content and actions without cluttering the page.

The Nav Menu component is used to display the primary navigation in the topbar or sidebar of the frame of an application. Navigation includes a list of links that user use to move between sections of the website.
